The Arch
Not McDonalds Arch, this one is natural.. I won a bet, My friend didnt think this would turn out
Mogollon, NM
Prospectors Office. Had neat turn of the century posters..
Ashcroft Colorodo
Right by Aspen.. For those who cant afford the glitz of a ski town..
Mongollon, NM
General Store.. when we were there, they were just starting it as a resturant. We asked how much for a meal and the owners siad they hadnt thought about prices yet, so they asked us how much did we want to pay.. Very nice people. Also met a nice couple from Australia who were Backpacking.. the town is so isolated, the only way to really get there was on foot
Mogollon Theater
We were told by the owner that there were canisters with turn of the century video shorts, WW I and WWII film shorts, old cartoons, and old movies buried under dust.. Would have loved to have gone through it
Mogollon NM Ghost Town
The road going into this town was a nail biter. Very narrow with signs that said, No trailers allowed. Road was way to narrow.. Sure enouggh, when we headed out, there were trailers comming down the mountian. Our car was scratching the sides of the mountain trying to get by. I couldnt see the road from the side of my car..Was ready to take pictures of us going off a cliff..
Same Ghost Town
Fooled You! We took this picture thinking it was an authentic general Store.. found out later it was a prop for a very bad B movie.. sould have known they would never combine a general store with a blacksmith shop! (Barely visible sign on top says Blacksmith shop)
